Professional, empathetic psychotherapy in Howth, Co.Dublin
If you’re here, something in your life may not feel quite right. People come to therapy for many reasons from feeling overwhelmed to feeling stuck or unsure. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Therapy offers a calm, supportive space to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, make sense of your emotions, and gently explore what needs attention or change.
About
I’m a fully accredited psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy, and a higher diploma in Counselling and psychotherapy from Dublin Business SchooI. I come from a previous career in the corporate sector. I work with people who are navigating relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, low mood, and grief. I also have particular experience and sensitivity around reproductive loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, and termination.
I offer a non-judgemental, caring space to help you understand and work through what’s happening. I use evidence based therapy methods tailored to your needs to help reduce distress, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, I’ll meet you where you are with warmth, respect, and a little bit of humour. Together we’ll find ways to make everyday life feel more manageable.
Approach to therapy
Our first session is an opportunity to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll explore what has brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and what meaningful change might look like for you.
I work from a humanistic-integrative approach, drawing on person-centred meaning that you are the expert in your own experience. This is a space where you can bring the parts of yourself you may feel unsure about, conflicted by, or disconnected from.
Therapy is a collaborative process. I won’t tell you what to do or offer quick fixes, but I will support you in making sense of your inner world, gently challenge unhelpful patterns, and offer practical tools where useful. Together, we work toward greater clarity, self-understanding, and change.
I practise ethically and professionally in line with IACP guidelines, maintaining strict confidentiality and clear therapeutic boundaries.
